Creamed Ground Beef over Potato

  • ½ cup sliced onions
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • for baked potatoes
  1. Brown onions and ground beef in large skillet.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from skillet.
  3. Melt butter in same pan. Add flour, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat.
  4. Add milk; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 min. Add meat.
  5. Serve over baked potatoes.
